Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Movie Stopped Screening at a Mangalore Theatre
Rishabh Shetty’s much-talked-about Kantara Movie opened to a strong start at the box office. With positive word of mouth, the Kannada film witnessed an impressive run on the big screen. While the film is basking in rave reviews, Rishabh Shetty fans were shocked by an incident that took place at a theater in Mangalore during the screening of Kantara.
Recently, a strange video of Kantara screening at Mangalore’s PVR Mall surfaced on Twitter. In the video, a woman is behaving strangely while watching the film. She was screaming at the top of her lungs during the screening of the film. It is said that the program was stopped for half an hour due to this. However, it resumed after the woman regained consciousness.
This video was shared on Twitter by a user named Anil Pujari. Posting the video, he wrote that there is no better review of Kantara. A must watch movie about Bhoot Kola which premiered today at PVR Mangalore. Filming was stopped during the incident and resumed shortly after.
Despite strong competition from PS – 1 and Vikram Veda, Kantara is doing well at the box office. The film is set against the rural backdrop of a fictional village on the south coast of Karnataka. Rishabh tells the story of the generational belief system of the coastal region and the film focuses on the sacred practices of the region. He carefully weaves the popular myths, legends and superstitions of Karnataka into Kantara.
Director and Actor Rishab Shetty has announced that the movie ‘Kantara’ will be going to release in other languages across the country from next week. Kantara Movie running full house in all the theaters.
