Crime thriller web series Mirzapur fame Divyendu Sharma is soon going to be seen in the main lead role in cinemas with the drama film Mere Desh Ki Dharti. It is directed and screenplay written by Faraz Haider and the dialogues are written by actor-singer (Arambh Hai Prachand fame) Piyush Mishra.
This comedy-drama film revolves around the journey of two friends Ajay and Sameer who after facing setbacks in their engineering careers went on to become the stars of rural India. It also explores the issue that while the youth is busy fetching jobs in urban areas, the farming sector is one of the major enterprises.

MERE DESH KI DHARTI RELEASE DATE & REVIEWS
This long-awaited film Mere Desh ki Dharti was scheduled to hit the theatres on Kisan Diwas on 11 February 2022 but was postponed again due to COVID. Earlier it was to release on 14 Aug 2020 but got put off owing to obvious reasons. The new release date for the film is 6 May 2022.

BEHIND THE SCENES (BTS) TEAM
Neel Chakroborty wrote the story, Hari K. Vedantam has cranked the camera, the editing is done by Pratik Chitalia and the music is given by Vikram Montrose. Veteran singer Sukhwinder Singh has sung the title song.
The Film has a runtime of 1hr 51 minutes. Mere Desh Ki Dharti portrays the hardships faced by farmers in the villages, expect the trailer soon.
